AC Shadows Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that breaks conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden group.
The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an special katana alongside several objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
